His focus is on building children's self confidence by promoting physical fitness, self defense and anti-bullying throughout his martial arts curriculum.

A Message From Head Instructor Geoff Hartman
"Our goal at North Orange County Martial Arts, above all else, is to promote and develop confidence. Confidence allows for children to deal with life’s challenges without the cloud of self doubt. The idea being with confidence an individual is not a target. They are now an advocate for themselves and are more likely to take on a leadership role, sticking up for themselves and others. As confident individuals there is nothing to prove; children can now take on a proactive role as leaders and examples of character. They build confidence by learning skills, tactics and strategies for self-defense and combative sport competition (for those wanting to compete). The end result, confidence is built simultaneously with skill. They learn while the grow ! This is the type of synergy that builds strong character and helps our students in all aspects of life!
